Not feeling well? Support looks different for everyone.
Let’s find the best fit for you.
If you feel down, anxious, hopeless, or isolated, you are not alone. These feelings are very real and very common. For many of us, the pandemic has only made our conditions worse or even brought on new ones.
Your pain is not too small or insignificant.
Help is available in various ways:
- Over the phone or computer
- Through a drop-in or shelter provider
- In group counseling
- More options are available
It’s also true that the help available is not enough.
Some of the options will frustrate you or may simply not be the right fit for you. This is not on you. The mental health support system is not as accessible as it should be. It can also take time to find something that's the right fit for you. It’s a very common practice for people to “shop around” to find a counselor or service that works for them.
As difficult as it may be, please consider checking out different options until you find the help you need. You deserve to feel better.
If you want to be part of the change to improve the system, connect with the organization Young Invincibles. They’re pushing decision-makers to design a better mental health care system. Share your experiences with them.
Note: We do our best to provide updated information, but please know this is not a complete list of options available. If anything is incorrect or missing, please contact us.
